The Crossfire 800GTd is Crossfire's ultimate workhorse, extremely robust, with a large carry capacity that makes it a great all-round machine. The 800GTd sports a Perkins 800cc 3 cylinder diesel injected engine that is made in Japan. The engine is versatile and hard working generating loads of power from idle minimising the need to work the engine hard to get going when loaded.
The ride can best be described as “sure footed”, thanks to the all round Independent suspension. Independent suspension generates better contact between the wheels and the ground. More contact with the ground gives better stability and more traction but most importantly more comfort.
The large tray is versatile and will also tilt. The tray is metal lined for added durability and strength, and not plastic like you might find on some cheaper offerings. So throwing in the heavy tools, feed or the day's catch will not wear it out.
Crossfire has kept the options list as small as possible and has fitted most items as standard. The front windscreen is standard as are the half doors, the tow hitch is standard and so is the roof. Here at Crossfire, we feel these ‘optional extras' are necessary and make for a comfortable and practical experience for the owner to enjoy and to use, and that’s why we fit them all as standard.
